I’m Dan Allison, a seasoned business leader with over 38 years in the construction and offsite manufacturing sectors, including 15+ years at Board and Managing Director level.
Throughout my career, I’ve helped businesses scale, transform, and overcome complex challenges by combining strategic oversight with hands-on leadership.
From steering organisations through private equity transactions to delivering the UK’s largest modular construction project, I’ve worked across every stage of the business lifecycle. I’m now using this experience through DHTE Consulting to support companies as a flexible executive resource, whether that’s stepping into interim roles, offering NED support, or guiding leadership teams to achieve more.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of leading teams, shaping strategy, and delivering results across a wide range of businesses, from SMEs to large, complex organisations. Most notably, I spent over a decade leading a business from a standing start to an enterprise value of £255 million, driving growth, transformation, and strategic success at board level.
I’ve led through significant milestones, including two successful private equity investments, the delivery of the UK’s largest modular construction project, and major transformation initiatives during periods of uncertainty, from economic shifts to global crises like COVID. I also spearheaded the implementation of end-to-end ERP systems and was proud to lead the first non-financial business in the UK to achieve full ESG accreditation.
